Welcome to GlutenFreeMap

GlutenFreeMap empowers you to manage and share your own lists of gluten-free venues privately, securely, and with full data ownership. When you publish a list, it can be used on the glutenfreemap.org web application or in the GlutenFreeMap app for Android. This documentation is your starting point for publishing, maintaining, and sharing lists with the GlutenFreeMap community.

Just want to browse gluten-free venues? If you want to find gluten-free places, simply visit the GlutenFreeMap web app or download the Android app. No account or setup is required.

What is GlutenFreeMap?

GlutenFreeMap is a privacy-focused platform for discovering and sharing gluten-free venues. Anyone can maintain their own public or private list of venues using Git repositories. You control your data. There is no tracking, no centralized user accounts, and no hidden data collection.

Who Should Manage Lists?

GlutenFreeMap is designed especially for coeliac associations and similar organizations who wish to provide a list of certified gluten-free venues to their members and the public. Many such groups lack the resources to build their own solution. GlutenFreeMap allows you to publish and maintain your list at no cost on glutenfreemap.org, or at minimal cost if you prefer to self-host. List managers can also embed GlutenFreeMap in their own website for a more integrated solution.

While anyone can create and share their own list, the platform is primarily intended for trusted organizations. Individuals are welcome to use the system. However, most lists will be managed by associations or groups.
